Looks like I am the newest member to sign up. I am from OHAP, UAW 2000. A co-worker will be along to vouch for me for the UAW only area.

From what I heard this sounds like a better place to get info and talk about company matters with others whom may have already experienced issues that we may be going through.

Welcome aboard!  We're very glad to have you.  Remember to pass the word to your local brothers and sisters!  Also, if a member of your local signs up here, please vouch for them so they may be verified!

As a matter of privacy, nothing you read here is to be reposted or duplicated on any other public website, or publication.  If you want to discuss it on the floor at your facility feel free, but our goal is to keep our business out of the public's view. Take advantage of what you learn here to protect yourself, and your family.  What happens on FF stays on FF.

The famously hated shadowcat from BON is here watch out. LOL

Shadowcat!  I'm so glad you found this site!  Welcome aboard!  Furious, I can personally vouch for this guy!  No one could forget Shadowcat!  lmao!

The lmao is a little cynical early on in his membership. This could be a positive sign. There were many from the the same camp that refused to join for political reasons, I hope that has all passed. With many people coming together from both sides, we will have more clarity.

Greetings from local 2000 OHAP yes I'm the famously hated shadowcat from blue oval news site.

Welcome, all UAW members are welcome here from both sides of the political spectrum. Opposing views, and real debate enlightens us all. If anything we need balance, and being able to speak freely without interjection from outsiders makes it all the better. Glad to see you defect shadowcat

I agree with both of you. We need a manufacturing presence in the U.S., but we also need to make sure that people are also compensated well for thier sacrifices!

Ford Motor Company Outsells Toyota for the 1st Time in a Year

You guys are the best of the best, and your fighting spirit is what has brought you out of the dark ages. Keep up the good work, and when I begin buying new trucks I will only run Fords.  At this point the "Crew Chief" system is the biggest come on for me as a business owner next to Ford's quality. The quality is directly from all of the UAW's effort, hell the management can't even claim the are the reason anymore, the foremen have almost completely been replaced by hourlys. (GroupLeaders) once again keep fighting!
58  Unofficial Dick Marcinko Fan Section / Open Political Discussions / Re: Furious and gun owners read this on: May 04, 2009, 10:25:16 am

I was not sure if you had heard about this but i knew you would want to know.
Looks like they want to ban reloading ammo so that their proposed ammo tax increases will stick. If they don't ban reloading (which is safe and has been done forever) then people will quit buying new ammo just because of the cost!

I never was a gun fanatic, but having my rights stripped away makes me angry!

Well, maybe with things looking up alittle, you'll be called soon. Yeah, I saw "Critic" on the "other" site giving you **** about that. I swear I wonder why I go on there sometimes. By the time I'm done reading thru the threads I'm pissed. But.... it's entertaining when I'm bored.

Browsing that other site is like watching monkeys fling poo at the zoo. It's all fun and games until you get hit with it.  Tongue

Occasionally, though, good information surfaces overt here. I know I've brought info over on a couple occasions (only something with an actual linked source to support it, though).

I feel I've been slacking on bringing in new content, but I have been so busy setting up my moving company. I may not be able to stay as active as I once was, but I will still be here from time to time.

I have been stripping and sanding the floor of my truck. I have to take the floor sander back, sand blast some rust, and do some painting.  This is the type of work I really love to do.  Building new vehicles is good, but raising the dead gives me a sense of accomplishment! Because of the work that I have already performed on my truck, my equipment is probably worth about $3,000 more then when I bought it!
