The way I see it, the plants in shelby and corker's districts make stuff in America too, so a campaign like this includes helping them. That's what I'm getting at. If you can take the emotion out of it for a minute, it's an all pro-employer campaign with no space for worker rights that I can see.
well those plants down south, also pay good, 22-30 an hour...i dont have a problem with support made in america, as long as it is.

"Keep it made in America" does not say one single thing about wages, hours, or conditions of how it's made. Those are my first considerations. Made in America by slave labor? Like the new Chrysler contract? Is that what we want?
well last i checked, slave labor, WAS ILLEGAL in the U.S. and this is much better then those ass fucks down south like shelby and corker, you want THEM to help us out ? i would rather have this campaign then not, i think it is a good thing, to be MADE HERE, then some other country. i dont care if the guy/gal make 8000 dollars an hour or 2.12 an hour, if it is made here i support it!!

got this email from the lansing mayor.... God, i love this guy!! i wish he would run for PRESIDENT! Dear Supporters, I trust you are well and that you're still just as fired up about FAIR trade in America as I am, starting with a level playing field for American auto workers. I apologize for the late notice, but I wanted to inform you right away that the Mayors and Municipalities Automotive Coalition (MMAC) has partnered with the Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) and the United Steelworkers (USW) to organize a “Keep it Made in America” national bus tour from May 11-14. Follow the link and see the attached flier for the particulars. We need your passion. We need your voice. Let's show the public and our elected leaders how vital American manufacturing is to our economy, and why American workers are the most dedicated and talented in the world! http://madeinamericatour.org/ Yours for a Better America, Virg Bernero

Ok, I was thinking about putting a Aero Muffler on my truck (not even thinking about the headers right now) but! I don't like the hallow sound that it has like Flowmaster and FloSound. Then I thought about putting a Magnaflow Muffler on, but I don't like how quiet it is (even with high flow cats on it, it doesn't give too much sound even revving it up to a high RPM). So! My question is if someone on here can find a muffler brand that can give the low rumble of Magnaflow, but still have the roar of a Glasspack or a Flowmaster muffler. Any ideas? Also I am planning on making a custom dual exhaust for my truck, I will have to buy the Y-pipe myself. Can I get it on E-bay or should I see if I can get it from Auto Zone?
dude, i got a PT ...and all decked out..i love the 'borla' exhaust....good deep sound, even afor a T4....lol anyhow if you get a chance, look for the same, borla rocks, and get t304 so it will never rust. http://www.revelenterprises.com/pt_cruiser_borla_duals_25s.htmthis is some of what i got, i left the cat off, and changed the computer(stage one), plug/wires, and changed the intake ....nice changes......... bet you get about 50-100 more horse if you do that...and the borla will sound great!!!

Well, maybe with things looking up alittle, you'll be called soon. Yeah, I saw "Critic" on the "other" site giving you **** about that. I swear I wonder why I go on there sometimes. By the time I'm done reading thru the threads I'm pissed. But.... it's entertaining when I'm bored.
Browsing that other site is like watching monkeys fling poo at the zoo. It's all fun and games until you get hit with it. Occasionally, though, good information surfaces overt here. I know I've brought info over on a couple occasions (only something with an actual linked source to support it, though). true but it is getting worse over there, i'm about done with it....

today's detriot free press ( www.freep.com) has an article about the congress discussing the taxes on health care benefits. quite interesting. i understand your point, but 80-90 percent of what that newspaper says is either FALSE, or borders on false(according to their interpretations) and never ends up happening i truly believe they want to incite the populace... anything i read on that site, if at all, i take a big dose of sugar and salt with..... i just dont like that site too. but all bullshit aside, the past articles have not some true.....or the way they tell it.

Hello all;
Retired with the buyout ( $50k ) in March 08, thought I could find another job with less tension-headaches........boy was I wrong !! there are no jobs out there, once they find out you are a UAW retiree, the door get shut in your face and a boot gets shoved in your ass!! If you are union, nobody will hire you, NOBODY!! I know the company is pushing everyone to get out, but BE SURE YOU CAN AFFORD TO GO !! I was not, now I am paying the price, big time, I'm close to declaring bankruptcy if I don't get a job soon.
Good luck fellas
Hold tight with the new contract negs, don't let them screw with your future to bad, and if anyone knows of an entry level job near Romulus hit me up...I was a hilo driver in the plant, and a Security Officer outside the plant.
BULLSHIT! i have applied with TOYOTA, HONDA and hyundai, AND Thyseen Krupp(this last one i got a job offer from) i got several interviews with ALL.....they new ahead of time that i was/is UAW ..now they asked some hard questions. like would i be willing to work for 20 an hour start..then work my way up(which i am) and work rotating schedule, ETC....they did not care i was union...does not matter to them, and i have to pass a physical and a drug test, which again is no problem for me. i want to work.... but i would have to be willing to move to alabama, which again i am..... dude you just have to look around you. mich is dying....
