I was asked to sign a petition to get it on the ballet, and asked the right questions.

Q:  What city?

A: due south of Columbus.

R:  If it is not in the City of Lorain I won't sign, that's why I voted down the last attempt. It was for Cleveland, and not Lorain.

Second question

Q: Are they promising money for the schools?

A: Yes, they will help fund Ohio schools

R: How well did gambling funding from our multi state lottery help out schools? The City of Lorain laid off 244 teachers last year!

Casino's steal peoples money through their addictions, and depress the surrounding areas. If my city does not benefit I don't want one period.

I voted against the bill for casino's last time, because it was not the city I live in.  When the casino's come the cities that house them flurish, but the surrounding areas turn to slums.  Cleveland is only 30 miles away, and the city I live in has already lost much by way of manufacturing!
